Don’t even like snow white but i posted it for the poster, its epic. Lionking & Aristocats FTW. And who doesn’t love cruella?

Went to see The Hunger Games today in the cinema. I was really sceptical from the minute I finished the books last january as to how they would pull it off. I didn’t want to see another twilight type thing. However, they pretty much nailed it on the head. I can’t comment about how it comes across to non-readers, or if they’d understand some of the underlying strategies in it (for instance, its not a tale of love, but of deception and survival) but for me it was excellent. I really loved the portrail of the capitol people too, exactly what I had imagined. Still would’ve prefered to see Philip Seymore Hoffman as Haymitch, and Steve Buschemi as president Snow however!

I’ve developed a bit of a crush on winona ryder after watching this and Girl, Interrupted again in the last few weeks. LOVE those movies!

Watched this movie last night. It is without a doubt, visually stunning! Really talented artists working on that production team, lovely story too, but I just cannot get past the graphics. I’ve always been fascinated by cogs and mechanical workings though!

Watched this earlier. Not half bad, good on ya Scotland. If anything watch it for the amazing camerawork, those landscape shots and slow motion shots are Unbelievable!

I want a hair change.. Don’t know what though, maybe I’ll grow it a bit, or cut it more, or dye it a different colour. Its boring me as is… Grey with dark sides is tempting.. Any suggestions are welcome, just leave them in my ask, you may inspire me!!

Watched The Artist today, I was skeptical at first because I had never seen a silent movie, and wasn’t sure how it would work. But my god, it was fantastic! You seem to feel more emotion throughout the movie when there are less words. I can definitely see why it was nominated for so much now. The dog is awesome aswell, I want him!

Screenshot from the movie Enter the Void Such a strange, trippy, fucking mental movie. If you’ve ever wondered what tripping out on DMT is like it gives a pretty cool view from first person. Its long though, and really odd. But give it a go if you’re bored!!

Super 8 This was one bad-ass movie. Saw the traier months ago in the cinema and thought it looked amazing. Then a longer trailer was released and I wasn’t as enamoured. However, upon its release date it got rave reviews so I had to go see it naturally. Its so captivating, riveting, humourous, and of all things, nostalgic. It reminded me of a movie from years ago called ‘The sandlot’ featuring mischevouus american kids who played basebally and rode their bikes everywhere. This is along the same lines with an alien backstory, although its nothing like a sci-fi movie. I really recommend it to anybody, young or old for an enjoyable 2 hours. You won’t get bored, just more sucked into this awesome world. You’ll come out of the cinema feeling like a 12yr old again! 8/10
